Burlingame Seventh-day Adventist Church

About Us

Friendly Multi-cultural Sabbath Keepers

Welcome to the Burlingame Seventh-Day Adventist Church. We are located on the San Francisco Peninsula, just 20 minutes south of San Francisco and 20 minutes north of Palo Alto, near San Francisco International Airport. Sabbath School starts at 9:30 and church starts at 11:00 followed each Sabbath by a potluck lunch. At 2:00, there is an hour long afternoon bible study and discussion. Please feel welcome to visit, study and learn of Gods love for us.

All of our worship services are on Saturdays. Seventh-day Adventists believe in the biblical Sabbath. We reserve the seventh-day of the week, from sundown Friday through sundown Saturday, for worship of God and renewing relationships with God, family and friends.

Services start at 9:30 with a review and discussion of the weekly bible lesson, (Sabbath School) and it is a more informal and intimate style of Burlingame’s worship services. If you enjoy a smaller weekly service with a focus on the current lesson, you’ll love our Bible lesson study service.

The formal church service is at 11:00 a.m. The church pulls out all the stops for this service. We celebrate church life in special ways, with baby dedications, ministry celebrations, and baptisms. The formal service often includes guest musicians and members special music selections, and of course a sermon from one of our three pastors or a guest. More people attend this service than other services, so you’ll get to know more Burlingame members by attending this service and feel welcome to stay after church and enjoy our weekly fellowship potluck.

Al Tsacle shared their experience Apr 2025

I worked with the Camino church cooking class for five years as a volunteer instructor. I am looking to hire a care-giver for my sister in San Bruno ( 20 hours per week @ $30 per hour). Please pass this info to the pastor. I can be contacted at [email protected].

Pastor Motsenbocker shared their experience Aug 2024

The Burlingame Seventh-day Adventist Church was organized as a congregation on October 26, 1925--not 1945 as listed above. Their current worship center was built in 1935.
