About Us
We are a family focusing on...
FAITH…in God, the Holy Scriptures as His word, Jesus Christ as Lord and Redeemer, and the transforming power of His Holy Spirit.
PROCLAMATION…of the redemptive love and grace of God demonstrated in the cross of Jesus, and His will for those who want to know Him.
HOLINESS…in life style as we promote renewal of the mind and heart to reflect the image of Christ.
WORSHIP…that is biblical, celebrative, simple, and meaningful as it exalts God our Father and Christ our Savior in the power of the Holy Spirit.
COMPASSION…to meet the physical and spiritual deficiencies in our community. We believe that the church of Christ must have the heart of Christ.

Dennis Conner
Dennis and his first wife, Terre, came to Brooks Ave. in 2006. They were married for 35 years before Terre went home to be with her Father in 2010, following an 11 year journey with cancer. They have a son and two grandchildren. After a friendship of 37 years, Dennis and Sherie Lutz were married on November 5, 2011. Dennis graduated from Lipscomb University in 1975. His past ministry includes the Warner’s Chapel Church of Christ (Clemmons, NC as associate minister, 1976-1977), and the Yadkinville Church of Christ (Yadkinville, NC, minister, 1979-2006). He has served on the boards of the Yadkin Arts Council and Carolina Christian Publications, Inc. and was editor of Carolina Christian Magazine for 12 years. He is currently on the board of Carolina Bible Camp and Retreat Center and directs Senior Week at CBC. Through his ministry Dennis seeks to move others toward conformity into the image of Christ by proclaiming and modeling love for God and love for neighbor.Location & Directions
