What is the community like?
Brea UMC is a welcoming and caring community that seeks to serve God, one another and our community by growing in faith, modeling compassion and connecting to the wider world with love, help, hope and peace. As a congregation of the United Methodist Church, we are "a caring church for thinking people," spanning a variety of ages, backgrounds, interests, theological and political opinions. Yet we share a common belief that all people are children of God. In this spirit we welcome you to join us for worship, prayer, study, music and fellowship.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Come anyway! We have myriad views on what makes one a Christian. Our pastor like to say: "Tell me about the God you do not believe in. There is a good chance I don't believe in that God either!"
