Bluff City United Methodist Church is a warm, loving family of God that gathers from the local community and surrounding area. With roots in the Cox family ministry all the way back in the 1770's, we are Tennessee's oldest continuing Methodist congregation. Our purpose is to know, love and serve God as growing disciples of Jesus Christ, and to connect others with God's love. We worship together every Sunday at 10:30 AM in the Main Sanctuary. We have an active youth group, which meets on Sunday evenings at 6:15 PM in the Wesley Center. Come and worship! Let our family love on yours.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our worship services are a mixture of ancient traditions (such as liturgy and prayers) along with newer music and creative elements. We worship together in the historic main Sanctuary.

What is the community like?
We are a mixture of young and old. Most Sundays, you will see several children and youth in worship, along with middle and older adults.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are absolutely welcome anytime! Our church exists for you
