I grew up in thus church during the 60s and 70s. My great grandfather Rev. George Smith was the Pastor.
I remember all the first families
Giles, Shoffner. Thomas, Silvers, Smith, Billingsley, Young, Williams Gripper. If I missed any please charge my head and not my heart. I'll never forget our mysician from back then, Sis Juanita Perdue. She worked that piano and we sang. I remember joining the youth choir at 8 years old, so this year, ive been ministering music for 60 years.
