We are worshipers of God, as followers of Jesus Christ in the Anabaptist tradition.

We believe that Jesus not only provided a way for us to have peace with God, but gave us an example of how we should live, which we follow with gentle humility and joyful gratitude.

We also believe people are most fulfilled when they are actively involved in caring community, Christ-centered worship and compassionate service.

We open our doors and arms to anyone who wants to join us in learning to follow Jesus Christ as Lord.

What to Expect

What is the community like?
We love God and follow Jesus Christ. And we expect it to actually make a difference in how we live, because it actually changes us in the core of our being. There really is forgiveness, and renewal, and love for you! Here at Bahia Vista we have old people, we have young people and we have in-between people. We come from a variety of backgrounds, traditions and personal preferences, and we are learning that our love for each other is bigger than those differences.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You don't have to dress a certain way to feel comfortable here. And you don't have to believe a certain way to be friends with us. In fact, we would consider it an honor to be your friend wherever you are in your spiritual journey. Stop in sometime. We believe you'll find us to be caring, Christ-centered and compassionate.
