About Us
We are worshipers of God, as followers of Jesus Christ in the Anabaptist tradition.
We believe that Jesus not only provided a way for us to have peace with God, but gave us an example of how we should live, which we follow with gentle humility and joyful gratitude.
We also believe people are most fulfilled when they are actively involved in caring community, Christ-centered worship and compassionate service.
We open our doors and arms to anyone who wants to join us in learning to follow Jesus Christ as Lord.

At BVMC since 2009 Married with two sons, two daughters, and one grandson; identical twin since birth. "I never dreamed I'd be pastoring the church where I was raised. But after 17 years as a worship pastor in Portland, Oregon, God called us back to Sarasota with an energized faith that he wants to do a surprising thing here.
