Our Services

Service Times

Sunday
11:00am
Worship at Azle Christian Church is best described as a “come as you are” attitude. You will see people dressed in a tie, but also in jeans and a T-Shirt. We sing traditional hymns (with organ/piano accompaniment), listen to Scripture and a sermon, and always celebrate the Lord’s Supper which is open to all. We would invite you to come experience and be a part of our worship each Sunday!

What to Expect

What are services like?
Worship at Azle Christian Church is best described as a “come as you are” attitude. You will see people dressed in a tie, but also in jeans and a T-Shirt. We sing traditional hymns (with organ/piano accompaniment), listen to Scripture and a sermon, and always celebrate the Lord’s Supper which is open to all. We tend to be liturgical following the Revised Common Lectionary, but we also do sermon series when the Spirit strikes us to do so.

What is the community like?
We are focused outward. We try to live out Christ's call to love God and neighbor as best we can through worship, service, and evangelism. We are a close knit community which cares for each other and genuinely enjoys being around each other.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome as well! You do not need to feel pressured when you come to our Church as each individual is on their own path along this journey called life. God has led you to where you are and we would like nothing more than to get to know you and help you in whatever way you feel you need it.

He’s served churches in Denton, Garland, Amarillo and Fort Worth. Alan earned his undergraduate degree from Phillips University, his Masters of Divinity from the Phillips Theological Seminary and his Ph.D from the University of North Texas.
