Mark Allen
Mark Allen is the founding Senior Pastor of Life Fellowship, a contemporary, evangelistic, Spirit-empowered church in Athens, Texas. Life Fellowship began in 2006 and has grown as God has continued to bless. Mark attended college at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia where he met his wife, Lisa. They have been married for 20 years and are blessed with two children, Anna and Michael. Pastor Mark has a passion for the people of Israel and has traveled to the Middle East a dozen times. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Athens Chamber of Commerce.Location & Directions

I agree, Pastor Mark, does have a gift for humor; his sermons are very enlightening. The music is good, but very loud at times to me. Everyone seems friendly enough, but my opinion is there should be a place of introduction before each service first time visitors and not after a meeting, because it’s overwhelming being around so many strangers & not really making a feel welcome impact, or acquaintance; other than a nod, or receiving a smile from others while there.

Finding my joy of the Holy Spirit again! Priceless..not my 1st experience in Nondenominational church.. but Pastor Mark is gifted with humor that we can laugh as we embrace Our Lord & Christ..
Ive seen as well as been part of His Miracles for great number of years. If I Praised Him a thousand times each day it wouldn’t be enough for ALL he has given.. Hallelujah..as the Angels sing & I will return soon.

I love the casual nature of the services. I really enjoy the sermons. Pastor Mark has a gift for humor which I find refreshing. The music is good, although seems like the band is in concert more than praising and worshiping sometimes.
I miss Sunday School. Apparently the older class is full and not accepting new members at this time. There seems no support group for new people in the church.
