About Us
Two thousand years ago the Eternal Son of God was born into the world as a human: Jesus of Nazareth. He lived, died, and rose from the grave for his people. He returned to Heaven, where he has been ruling over all things for the sake of his Church, sending forth his Spirit to advance his Kingdom, and interceding for his people at the throne of his Father.
Ascension is forming to participate in Jesus’ everlasting life, to carry the good news of his grace to our community and beyond, and to give him the glory that he deserves. Please join us!

Leadership
Eric Costa
Eric has been married to Jerilee since 2002. They have four children: Ransom, Justus, Evangeline, and Jubilee. Eric has always lived in the Portland Metro area. He graduated from Aloha High School in 1997; George Fox University in 2001 (B.A. in Christian Ministries); and Multnomah Seminary in 2004 (M.Div.). He was ordained a Minister in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) in 2005 at Intown Presbyterian Church in Portland, where he served as Assistant Pastor until starting Ascension in 2009.Location & Directions
