Arvon Presbyterian Church

Who We Are

Three Churches, One Congregation

Christ Presbyterian Parish is made up of three small churches - Arvon in Arvonia, VA, Trinity in New Canton and Fork Union Presbyterian Church. We worship at Arvon on the first and third Sundays of each month, Fork Union on the second and fourth Sundays, and Trinity on fifth Sundays for those months with five Sundays. All worship services are 11:00 am.

Arvon Presbyterian Church was built in 1885 to serve the nearby Welsh slate quarry workers. The building was destroyed by fire in 2009 and after being rebuilt to its original design, reopened on Palm Sunday, 2012.
