Apostolic Faith Church of Portland, Oregon
A Trinitarian and fundamental church, with the simple Bible truths as our doctrinal beliefs.
About Us
The Apostolic Faith Church is a worldwide Christian organization with headquarters in Portland, Oregon. We publish Gospel literature and distribute it around the world.
The church sprang from the Azusa Revival of 1906 which took place in Los Angeles, CA. For over a century, publishing Gospel literature has been our niche in the Christian world. We print a magazine called the Higher Way, evangelistic tracts and booklets, Bible studies, Sunday school materials, an online daily devotional, and more. In our historical archives we have the original Azusa papers from the 1906 Azusa Street Revival. We also offer audio files of music, sermons, and services.
Most of our literature can be downloaded for free from our website, or ordered in a printed version for just the cost of shipping.
As a Trinitarian and fundamental church, our doctrinal beliefs are the simple Bible truths. A detailed explanation of the doctrines we hold is also available on our website.

What to Expect
Leadership
Darrel Lee
Reverend Darrel Lee is Superintendent General of the Apostolic Faith organization, and pastor of the church in Portland, Oregon. He says that among all the things he appreciates about his job, he especially enjoys “working with wonderful people all around me who love the same Gospel that appealed to me when I first heard it.” Born in Roseburg, Oregon, in 1952, Darrel grew up on a farm with six siblings. He first heard about salvation after his younger sister was saved at a youth camp and returned home to tell her family that they, too, needed forgiveness from God. Although he did not give much weight to her experience at that time, God began dealing with him a few years later. In his testimony, he says that as a college student it worried him that people could have real encounters with God. While still in college, after attending an Apostolic Faith Church service in 1974, he reached out to God in his own home, and made a connection that changed his life. Darrel’s wife, Debbie, was saved as a child in Medford, Oregon, where she spent her early childhood. After moving to Portland and graduating from high school, she felt led to move to Dallas, Oregon, and met Darrel when he began attending church services there. They married on Valentine's Day in 1976 and had two children, Alicia and Randy, who both gave their lives to God at young ages. The Lees are the proud grandparents of five grandchildren.Location & Directions
