Advent is a Christian community that worships and learns in the evangelical Lutheran tradition. We are comfortable, yet intentional about our service in the world. Our national church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, ELCA, says it best: God's Work. Our Hands. Our three-fold emphasis is on worshipping together in praise of God, sharing all that we have and all that we are in service to others, and learning every day about who God is calling us to be in the world.
