Adoration Lutheran Church - ELCA

About Us

Learning to love according to God's inclusive love.

Adoration Lutheran Church is a multi-generational community of faith in God, dedicated to worship, fellowship, and service. More specifically, we are dedicated to grace-filled worship, inclusive fellowship, and compassionate service.

~ Sunday Morning Worship... 9:00 AM
~ Sunday School for all ages... 10:15 AM (September to May)
~ Wednesday Evening Worship... 6:15 PM

To equip and empower us for lives of compassionate service and good works, we gather for worship, hear the Word of God proclaimed, receive the Lord's Supper (Holy Communion), and share fellowship and Christian education each week according to the schedule above.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God — not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life." (The Holy Bible, Ephesians 2:8-10)

We welcome and celebrate the diversity of all God’s children: the diversity of ethnicity, culture, spirituality, sexuality, gender identity, age and ability.

All are welcome to receive the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) at ALC. You are invited to the Lord’s Table by the Lord Jesus Christ himself. Therefore, Adoration Lutheran Church practices “Open Communion” which means that we do not restrict anyone from receiving this grace-filled gift of God. Jesus loves everyone and welcomes everyone to his table of grace and peace.

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you." (The Holy Bible, 2 Corinthians 13:13)

What to Expect

What are services like?
The worship is liturgical with a variety of musical styles. The style of dress is casual, and the congregational culture is down-to-earth.

What is the community like?
Friendly, welcoming, relational, embracing.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We do not condemn non-Christians, although we are firmly Christian in our faith and spiritual life. We profess that Jesus is Lord and Savior, and we also affirm Jesus' way of all-encompassing love, Jesus' truth of all-pervading grace, and Jesus' life of all-inclusive Spirit.
