History: Rev. Michael Thang Khan Vum was born in 1982 in the country of Myanmar(Formerly Burma).He grew up in a Christian family and he served Sunday School teacher and Children Ministry in North Dagon Yangon while studying for his Bachelor of Theology degree at EBENEZER THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY in Yangon Myanmar .After finished his Bachelor of Theology degree.He started the House Church Planting ( NEW LIFE CHURCH)among Buddhist people(unbelievers)in Yangon division while he was studying for his Master of Divinity degree at MYANMAR CHRISTIAN SEMINARY in Yangon Myanmar. On March 10, 2006,Rev.Michael Thang Khan Vum and Ruth Luan Seih Cing began praying for God to open the door for this NEW LIFE CHURCH in God faithfulness NEW LIFE CHURCH was established on April 1, 2006 through a small house with a small group of people in South Dagon City Yangon, Myanmar. Rev.Michael Thang Khan Vum is pastor of NEW LIFE CHURCH which has a vision to reach the nation for Christ through House Church Planting. NEW LIFE CHURCH began with the desire of Rev.Michael Thang Khan Vum (calling of God)and Ruth Luan Seih Cing to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Yangon Myanmar(Burma)and into the world. He is married to Ruth Luan Seih Cing,and God has blessed them with three children,Grace Muang(daughter),David Hoih(son) and Bleesing Thang(son). He and his family live in the city of Yangon,Myanmar. …………………………… ‘NEW LIFE CHURCH’ meaning – all of us converted from Buddhist background so that we named (New Life Church) .He is a new creation.( 2 Cor 5:17) OUR MOTTO Our Motto is ''Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness''(Matt 6:33) OUR VISION Our Vision is to fulfill His purpose for the Church; (1)REACH & WIN our generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (2)TRAIN & EQUIP God’s people from the work of ministry. (3)BUILD & ESTABLISH mature disciples of Jesus; strong Christ-centered family. (4) SEND & PLAN teams for world evangelism; church planting churches. OUR MISSION (1)Soul wining, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. (2)Making Disciples. (3)Plan new local churches and assistance to local churches. (5)Children Ministry. (6)Youth Ministry. (7)Widows Ministry (Myanmar Widows Foundation). (8)Publishing and translation. OUR GOAL Our goal is to reach the lost, build strong Christ centered families and Build God's kingdom .
