• Harry White

    The Reverend Doctor Harry L. White, Jr. is a visionary Christian leader who has dedicated his life to advancing God’s Kingdom. Reverend White was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He is an honors graduate of Howard University, in Washington, D.C., where he received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and African American Studies. Reverend White holds a Masters of Divinity degree from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Beeson Divinity School, Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Reverend White worked on the staff of the former U.S. Congressman Floyd H. Flake as a legislative assistant. He has served on the ministerial staff at the Omega Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio and the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. From March 1998 until June 2006, Reverend White served as pastor of the Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. During his tenure as Pastor of Mount Moriah, the church experienced significant spiritual, fiscal and ministry growth. Pastor White has served as an adjunct instructor of Religious Studies at the College of Mount Saint Joseph, the University of Cincinnati, the Northern Kentucky University and a doctoral mentor at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. White is a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Pastor White has served as the pastor of Watts Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Raleigh, North Carolina since June 2006. He is committed to the nurture and strength of his family. He is married to his long-time college friend, the former Shauntae Renee Brown of Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Shauntae Brown White serves as an Associate Professor of Communications at the North Carolina Central University in the Department of English and Mass Communications. Reverend White and Dr. White are the proud parents of Nia and Kai.
