Warren Chapel CME Church resides in a thriving community, located in the rural area of eastern Smith County, Texas. It was founded upon the visionaries, Cary Warren I and his eight children: Will, Libby, Marie, Rose Lee,Sarah, Harvey, James and Cary II. My grandfather, the late James Warren on Sunday morning would pick me up to walk to Warren Chapel Church. I have been there every since that time. It has always been my philosophy to carry on the legacy that has been built by my ancestors. As we continue to carry on the torch where the founders left off, it is important to keep our legacy alive.
