    After being born and raised in New Hope, MN, Jack's family moved to Palm City, FL in 2002. He came to Orlando in the fall of 2008 to attend UCF, where he majored in Applied Mathematics and minored in Music. He met his wife, Jamie, while attending college and they were married in December of 2011. After serving as the Youth Worship Leader for four years, he became the Interim Worship Director at UPC in June 2012 and accepted the permanent position a year later. He enjoys playing guitar, singing, watching movies, and going on bike rides and having picnics with Jamie.

  • Linda  Wheatley

    Linda Wheatley
    Director of Children's Ministry

    Linda Wheatley is a native Floridian, from Tampa. She has lived in Orlando for twelve years with her husband Paul, and their three daughters. Linda first came on staff as an assistant and later was asked to fill the role as the director of children's ministry where she has been serving since May 1995. Linda leads the ministry which includes nursery through the fifth grade.

  • Clint Delaplane

    Director of Hispanic Ministries

    After hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Clint left a nine year career in the U.S. Navy to serve the Lord in education and ministry. Since then he has labored as a teacher, as headmaster of Christian schools and as a missionary-pastor, serving 12 years in Costa Rica. Pastor Clint is married to Rocio, and they have been blessed with six children. He enjoys reading, running, soccer, board games, beaches, time with family and friends, good coffee and sharing about his Savior.

  • Matthew Ryman

    Matthew Ryman
    Senior Pastor

    Matt became the Senior Pastor at UPC in the spring of 2013. He earned a Master of Divinity degree in 2009, and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program at Reformed Theological Seminary - Orlando. In addition to his role at UPC, Matt serves on the Central Florida Presbytery MNA Committee, and is on the Executive Board of the Florida Church Planting Network. Matt is married to Hana, and they have four children.

    Assistant Pastor

    After coming to understand the gospel in college at Murray State University, Michael served two years in Brazil doing campus ministry. He left Brazil for seminary where he met his wife, Miriam, on a blind date. Michael married her the summer of 2007 and they headed to Cleveland, MS where he served as Assistant Pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Following six joyous years of ministry there in the Mississippi Delta, they were called to UPC in October of 2013. They bring with them their little girl Avery and boy Cannon.

  • Josh Gilman

    Josh Gilman
    Director of Youth & Family Ministries

    Joshua was born and raised in Sarasota, FL. He spent one year abroad in Melbourne, Australia with his parents and went to a private, all-boys school where he learned the art of music in the Orchestra. Since that day, he has fed a growing passion for worshiping God through music and leading others in worship. He attended the University of Florida from the Fall of 2005 through Spring 2009, where God altered the course of his studies from Civil Engineering to Religion in pursuit of a career ministering in the church. Shortly after graduating, he married his high school sweetheart Lorra Anne and packed a moving truck bound for Citrus County to be molded and shaped in 3 years of student ministry at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church. Now, Joshua attends RTS while working as an intern with the Middle School youth group.

  • Nolan Williamson

    Nolan Williamson
    Director of College Ministry

    Nolan was born in Dallas, TX and grew up in Huntsville, TX. He attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas where he graduated with a degree in Biblical Studies and Preaching in 2012. While in college, Nolan had no plans to do ministry full-time or study theology, however he had his plans altered when he encountered the Gospel through the preaching and writing of Timothy Keller and many other authors and pastors. Nolan also met his wife Lindsay while in college and they were married in July 2012. They moved to Orlando in August 2012 for Nolan to pursue his M. Div. at Reformed Theological Seminary.

    Associate Pastor

    Mike hails from South Carolina. He's been a pastor since 1986, serving churches in Missouri, South Carolina, and Florida before coming to UPC in August, 2001. He and his wife Suzy have been married 39 years. They have four children and nine grandchildren.
