I always appreciate the opportunity to share the "Good News" that Jesus knew would benefit all who would listen. In the "Lord's Prayer", he highlighted key components of that Good News. First, Christ prayed that his Father's name be hallowed, or sanctified. In the original manuscripts, the name Jehovah is used over 7000 times.(Psalms 83:18) Second, Jesus desired that God's Kingdom come. Daniel 2:44 says "it will crush and put an end to all these other kingdoms, and t itself will stand forever." And third, Christ prayed that God's Will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Revelation 21:4 says "God will wipe out all tears from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away." Indeed, Good News for any who will listen!
