    Edward Hilton

Pastor Ed grew up in the suburbs of San Diego, in a small town called San Marcos. He attended San Marcos High School and then after graduation, Simpson University, in Redding, California. While at Simpson, Ed majored in Elementary Education and interned at two local elementary schools. After graduation, Ed moved to Philadelphia to take a position with the Media Presbyterian Church as the Director of Children’s Ministries. Pastor loves Philadelphia, so much so that he became a Phillies and an Eagles fan. Though he isn’t into hockey and basketball that much, he’ll watch the Sixers and the Flyers if they make it into the playoffs! In 2002, Ed was accepted into graduate school. He completed a Masters of Divinity program and elementary teaching certification between the schools of Princeton University, and Princeton Theological Seminary. Check out Ed with the New Jersey Commissioner of Education. Pastor Ed and his family moved to Truckee in the summer of 2005. They live in Glenshire and love hiking and biking in the area. While Ed has taught elementary school in New Jersey, he has loved teaching middle and high school students. He is a “tentmaking” pastor, which means that Ed has another full-time job in addition to being a pastor at TLPC. Pastor is always up for a good hike, geocaching, or watching an Eagles or Phillies game. You’re always welcome to stop by and say hello!
