    As a military soldier, Pastor Reed gave this charge repeatedly during the 26 years he spent in the military. As an artillery noncommissioned officer, his tours of duty included Korea, Kuwait, Panama, Europe, Thailand, as well as multiple tours in the United States. His wife, Angel, stood by him during his entire military career. Together, they have four children. His military career and family challenges have allowed Pastor George and Angel Reed to say to you, "Stay with us - we are going somewhere". The rigor of military life along with overcoming and emerging victorious from family challenges has equipped them to handle the awesome task of shepherding people. Pastor Reed has been associated with South Tacoma Assembly of God since 1989 when he was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. He has served as the Children's and Youth Pastor. Since 2004, he has been the Senior Pastor.
