Sam Shaw

Sam and his wife, Ruthe met in college (Oklahoma Baptist University) and have been married for 35 years. They have 4 adult children, 2 sons-in-law, 2 daughters-in-law, and 5 grandchildren - and Sam and Ruthe are crazy about each one of them! Sam has served as a missionary in the Dominican Republic and Latin America. He loves the Spanish language, Latin culture and Mexican food! He has 2 degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and 35 years in ministry as a youth pastor, missionary, and senior pastor in 5 states. He believes God has called him to teach the Bible, mobilize missionaries, and engage God's people in ministry. Sam's life verse is Acts 20:24 "I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me, the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." On his day off, he can be found riding his Honda VTX 1800, shooting, going to movies with Ruthe, talking to his children and grandchildren, and completing two books (Only God and Letters from PaPa).
