Joe Anderson
Lead Pastor

Joe has been the Lead Pastor at Summit Church since 2012. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Pastoral Theology from North Central University. Joe was also ordained in 2006 with the Assemblies of God. Joe has been married to his wife Jen since 1997 and they have 4 children together: Joey, JoJo, Jada, and Johnny, along with a beloved Standard Poodle named Judy. Joe has served in the Air Force for 10 years as a Master Sergeant. Joe has also had a variety of ministry experiences that has shaped him as a pastor, which included being a campus pastor at River Valley Church, being a traveling evangelist speaking at conferences and seminars, as well as starting “Surrender Ministries.” In this ministry, Joe shares his testimony of deliverance and redemption. Joe wants Summit Church to be a warm and inviting place that encourages the building of relationships and having diversity in the Body of Christ. He is passionate about teaching people to follow Jesus and grow in their faith.
