Married with two sons and six marvelous grandchildren, I have taught Sunday School for 35+ years. Currently, I lead Children’s Church and the “Sparkies” in AWANA Club as well as schedule the hired workers and volunteers who provide childcare during services here at Stonebridge. I have also personally experienced the grace of God in my life. I was a volunteer crisis pregnancy counselor for over ten years and was then blessed to become the Director of the same center. I got to see God at work there every day when young abortion-minded mothers were persuaded to choose life for their babies. Some trusted in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This led me to the privilege of leading groups of women prisoners at the Mountain View Unit at Gatesville, Texas Women’s Prison in a three month long Post-Abortion Bible Study that leads them toward their healing. With passion in my heart for the young and the old I desire to tell the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Dr. Kevin Prather
Senior Pastor

Pastor Kevin was born and raised in San Antonio. He is married to Priscilla Prather and they have two children: Christian and Hannah. Prior to Stonebridge, Kevin has served in vocational ministry as a youth minister, church planter, college campus missionary and pastor. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves helping and watching people grow in their relationship with God. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, exercise, writing and good music. Trapper is his dog. Personal Mission Statement: To continually be growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and in my love for Him. To make Him known to all.
