Elizabeth Jameson

The Rev. Elizabeth Butler Jameson is delighted to be the rector of St Simon's. Elizabeth holds an M.Div. from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and is a graduate of Harvard University. She combines eight years of parish ministry, including time as Associate Rector at Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth, Illinois and as Priest-in-Charge of St. Elisabeth's, Glencoe, Illinois, with leadership as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. After seven years in seminary administration, Elizabeth is delighted to return to her first calling: parish ministry. Elizabeth cherishes her marriage to Jim Jameson and their three children--Wallace, Abbott and David. In her spare time, she loves running, being with friends and family, cooking, hiking and reading in addition to meditation, and spending time with family dogs, Howie and Spike.
