A Message from Pastor Dan Peterson: We’re glad you found us and trust you will take some time to learn more about St. Lucas Community Church. St. Lucas is a warm, friendly, and growing congregation, located on the east side of the Twin Cities. We are here for the purpose of glorifying God by delighting in Him and sharing our joy in Christ with all people. The Psalmist declares in 34:8, “O taste and see that the Lord is good.” Jesus himself invites us to be satisfied in him when he declares, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.” (John 6:35) I think you would agree that many today do not experience a satisfying and sustaining joy in anything, much less in Jesus. It may appear to you as it does to us that many exist for the purpose to eat and drink, for tomorrow we die! (I Corinthians 15:32) This does not have to be the case, if one earnestly searches for the unquenchable joy in Christ. Therefore, we at St. Lucas Church are committed to helping you receive and develop an all-satisfying relationship with Jesus Christ, who is our life. Jesus is both the centerpiece and circumference of our lives. He alone is our hope in all matters of life, especially in times of stress and suffering. Like the Apostle Paul, we believe “Christ is all.” (Colossians 3:11) And because He is our ultimate and supreme hope, we are motivated to share Him with others, trusting they will come to experience Jesus much in the way we do. If you feel led, please consider responding in one or more of the following ways. • Give me a call at my study: 651-436-6021 • Visit us on Sunday for our morning worship service at 10 a.m.. • Attend one of our adult or youth Bible studies • Consider getting involved in one of our outreach ministries It is our prayer that you will become more interested in savoring Christ as your ultimate satisfaction in life and thus be more willing to make your life a living sacrifice of His Supremacy.
