    Pastor Matthew Rivers Jr. has served as the rector of St. John's Chapel since July,2018. Pastor Rivers holds a bachelor's degree of Theology from North Carolina College of Theology, and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Pittsburgh P.A. Matthew is married to Henrietta Rivers

    Henrietta is a long time member of St. John's Chapel and also serves in multiple pastoral ways. You may also catch her live on Face Book for her Series of 1st Lady Friday messages. She holds a Master's of Divinity from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Pittsburgh P.A. She is active in ministries for women, youth, and marriage. Henrietta is the middle school chaplain at Porter Gaud School in Charleston. She is married to Matthew and has two adult children.

    Jacqueline is the wife of Anthony Thompson of 30 years. They are the proud grandparents of Joleigh Rose. She is the administrator/administrative assistant of St John's Chapel where she has been a member for >10 years. Jacqueline has a passion to learn and teach the Word of God.

    Debra, is the proud wife to Kenneth Meyers, where they share 6 children and 6 grandchildren . She has been a member of St. John's Chapel since 2019 and enjoys spending time with her family as well as her community.
