He is passionate about God’s call on the local church to live and to share the good news of Jesus in the world. He has never felt more excited about the life and future of a church as he does St. James. Wayne serves in the community as the volunteer chaplain of the Littleton Police Department. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Denver Seminary teaching courses in leadership, evangelism and discipleship. Wayne has had the privilege of working closely with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. He has also served as a speaker and evangelist in cities across the United States and internationally, including leading teams into war-torn regions of Central Europe, impoverished areas of Honduras, and to missionaries in Turkey. He received his Master of Divinity (Practical Theology) from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1987 and his Doctor of Ministry (Gospel and Culture) from Columbia Theological Seminary in 2006. They have three adult children: Lindsay (a high school teacher in Aurora, CO), Ryan (a marketing director for an Augmented Reality App company) and Kyle (a student at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA). Personal Wayne enjoys spending time with Robin and their children. He likes to hike, camp, sail, play golf, tennis and other outdoor activities. He also enjoys reading and travel. Their dog Aspen and cat Aslan round out their family.
