About Us

St. Andrew's is a community of Christ followers who worship and follow God in the historic Anglican tradition. Our worship services are rooted in the practices of the ancient church as handed down to us in the Book of Common Prayer with contemporary and historic music. We have a passion for the Bible and evangelism. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to dramatically change lives. Our statement of faith is the Nicene Creed. We place a high value on serving the community of Nedrow and especially those in need through our garage sale ministry and food giveaways. We are an Oratory of the Anglican Union.

What to Expect

What are services like?
WE MEET AT 6138 S. SALINA ST. IN THE PSALM 19 MINISTRY CENTER RIGHT NEXT TO OUR STOREFRONT. Our services follow the order of worship in the Book of Common Prayer with room for the Holy Spirit to change things up. We sing both historic hymns as well as more contemporary music. We attempt to be liturgical but not legalistic, reverent but not stuffy, and traditional but not prideful. We have holy communion every week. We celebrate the church year of Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Pentecost and Trinity.

What is the community like?
St. Andrew's regular church attenders are down-to-earth, chatty and welcoming of all kinds of people. Families with special needs and nursing moms with crying babies are welcome. Imperfect people with messy lives are encouraged to attend. We get you. If it helps you to understand what services are like before you come in person, view our live stream on Facebook.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Attending a new church feels awkward at first for everyone -- Christians and non-Christians alike. Hopefully at St. Andrew's that awkwardness will dissipate quickly and you will be welcomed and find a caring community of people. You won't be singled out or pressured to do anything. Our priest, Fr. Steve, would love to have coffee with you, help you to find answers to questions you may have about God and His church, and to pray for you if you would like. We would be honored if you came to visit us.
