Rev. Linda Montgomery

Rev. Linda Montgomery has been the Senior Pastor at Schertz UMC since June of 2009. Rev. Linda and her husband, Tim, have two grown daughters, but it is their dog, Texas, that rules the household. The daugher of a preacher, she has always experienced congregational life as a family affair and feels Schertz UMC resembles the congregations she grew up with. ”If you want a home away from home, this is a great place to be,” Rev. Linda explains. ”It is great to wake up every morning and be excited to go to work because Schertz UMC is an exciting place to be. From our sanctuary and Grace Place Learning Center building projects to meeting new people, expanding our ministries, teaching, preaching, visiting hospitals, and doing mission work, there is plenty to keep the pastor busy.”
