    Nancy Boote
    Pastor of Congregational Care

I am so privileged to be the primary preaching pastor at Ridgewood. God’s Word is a continual source of inspiration and grace in my life, and I am blessed to have a role where I may share that amazing Good News. I believe that my training as an attorney has in some ways contributed to all this, because the practice of law trains a person to read, process, and relate a text and its importance to others. Now, I just get to do that with a far better text! Church administration and ministry direction are two other tasks I am charged with. The Gospel becomes real in our lives as we live it out together. We must be continually asking what God desires us to be, and to seek his guidance and power each step of the way. I love the way that this church is committed to living out the gospel. Finally, I am the supervisor of a great ministry team! We’re seeking to serve in a way that always points to Jesus Christ. There are a variety of gifts, personalities, and passions—and we are committed to putting these in the service of Christ and seeking him in prayer.
