  • David Stancil

    David Stancil
    Assistant Pastor

    David Stancil was born and raised in Georgia and is a graduate of Berry College and Covenant Theological Seminary. After seminary, he completed a pastoral internship with City Church San Francisco and joined Resurrection Brooklyn in 2009 to participate in the church planting internship. He was ordained in July 2010 and is the Assistant Pastor at Resurrection Williamsburg. He and his wife, Mia, have been married since 2001, and they have two children: Jonah and Hannah.

  • Jeremy  McDonald

    Jeremy McDonald
    Music Director

    Jeremy McDonald is the son of a pastor and music teacher from western Pennsylvania. After studying music in Boston he spent a few years building swimming pools in Pittsburgh before moving to Brooklyn in 2013. In addition to being on staff at Resurrection, Jeremy is a bass player and producer. He loves all things Pittsburgh Pirates baseball.

  • Kate Mangold

    Kate Mangold
    Children's Ministry Director

    Kate Mangold was born in Ann Arbor, MI. Kate has also lived in Winfield, KS, Chicago, IL and New Haven, CT. She studied painting and drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Yale School of Art. Kate moved to Brooklyn in 2009 to continue her studio practice and pursue teaching opportunities. Currently, she is teaching elementary art and feeling more and more at home in Brooklyn, especially among the friends and families at Resurrection Williamsburg. Kate enjoys spending time with people young and old, working in her studio, running, reading, and drawing inspiration from the world around her.

  • Grace McDonald

    Grace McDonald
    Youth Coordinator

    Grace McDonald was born and raised in Dallas, TX and moved to Waco in 2005 to study Philosophy at Baylor University. During college, she began an after-school arts program for youth in an under-resourced neighborhood near Baylor. Inspired by the work she was doing, Grace moved to New York in 2011 to pursue her Masters in Arts & Cultural Management at Pratt Institute. She enjoys all things mobile including hiking in Harriman, bicycle beach trips and attempting to balance on a skateboard from time to time.

  • Vito  Aiuto

    Vito Aiuto
    Lead Pastor

    The Rev. Vito Aiuto was born and raised in Michigan and is a graduate of Western Michigan University and Princeton Theological Seminary. After seminary he moved to New York City where he has worked in a variety of ministries including homeless outreach and directing a ministry to college students at NYU. He helped to found Resurrection Brooklyn, and has been the lead pastor of Resurrection Williamsburg since it began in May 2005. Vito and his wife, Monique, enjoy playing music as The Welcome Wagon.
