David Johnson

Reverend David Johnson grew up in Minnesota before going off to college at Cedarville University in Ohio. While there he met his wife Jennifer. Shortly after leaving Cedarville they were married and started their family. Pastor Dave has been involved with several ministries through 26 years of service and God has moved his family around the country as well. From directing a summer camp in Ohio to serving as a house parent at a group home in Washington State, from growing an Awana Sparkies program in Michigan to ministering as a youth pastor in West Virginia; God has used many experiences and study at Appalachian Bible College to prepare Pastor Dave for this ministry. In the fall of 2009 Pastor Dave and his family moved one more time to Virginia from Michigan. In the fall of 2011 He answered God's call to Rappahannock Baptist Church. He is excited about the ministry opportunities that God has presented him there and is looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us.
