Matt Canniff-Kesecker
Redeveloper / Pastor

Pastor Matt Canniff-Kesecker began serving Prince of Peace in August 2018, and was ordained / installed as Pastor in December 2019. Matt grew up at Lutheridge Camp in the mountains of NC where he was formed in Christian community and ministry with all ages. He has over 15 years of professional ministry experience including on camp staff, with the organization Youth Encounter, and in Lutheran congregations in Charleston, SC, Sarasota, FL, and Minneapolis, MN. Matt’s role at Prince of Peace is pastor and community organizer, building the Beloved Community where all can experience a full life of belonging, justice, and the love of Jesus. Matt is married to Aubrey, and they have two young daughters. He obtained his Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC. When he has a second of spare time, Matt likes to play bluegrass music and bake bread with his daughters.
