I was born and raised in Washington State. I came to faith at the age of 14 and my faith came alive at Calvin College in Michigan. I felt called to ministry and moved back to Seattle to start a church and attend Fuller Seminary NW. I was ordained as a CRC Minister in 2008. In 2010, my wife Lily and I moved to NYC to start a church there. That was a wonderful experience, but in 2017 God called us back to Portland to serve as the lead pastor here.
