Gary James

Pastor James began preaching in 1971, was licensed in 1973 and began his first pastorate in 1975. He pastored Ellenton Baptist Church for 4.5 years, Flat Creek Baptist for 19 years, and Open Door Baptist for 13 years. He is bi-vocational and helped begin Open Door in 1999. He has three married children, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild who all are a part of the church ministry. He is the senior pastor with two associate pastors.
