    Chris Jackson

Pastor Chris A. Jackson was chosen by God, at the tender age of fifteen to preach the Gospel. He was called to Pastor the New Mount Corinth Church in 1997. Pastor Jackson is a native Houstonian and a proud graduate of Kashmere Senior High School. He graduated from Lone Star College with an Associate's Degree in Communications and is now pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with an emphasis in Interpersonal Communications, currently he is a student at Lone Star College. Under his leadership the New Mount Corinth Church has enjoyed and experienced much growth. Pastor Jackson enjoys leading the New Mount Corinth Church along with his wife Shalaundra. His exciting and energetic style of preaching and teaching inspires the congregation weekly on Sundays and Wednesdays. Pastor Jackson is an advocate of Bible Study, Sunday School and a strong Youth Department. He has built the foundation of New Mount Corinth Church soundly on the Word of God. Pastor Jackson continuously talks of building God’s Kingdom, and that the community in which the Church is located should reflect that Kingdom people are there. His vision for New Mount Corinth includes building an Education Center, opening The Corinth Center that will house retail stores and restaurants for the economic development of the community, building a Senior’s Housing Facility and a Day Center for Senior’s and The Peace Place which will be a shelter for women and their children. God continues to unfold daily the vision for New Mount Corinth to Pastor Jackson. He always tells the congregation “I am not asking you to trust me I am asking you to trust the God in me, and to follow me as I follow Him.” Pastor’ Jackson"s greatest quality is that he leads by example. The people of New Mount Corinth have been truly blessed by his leadership. It is no doubt that God will continue to grow and prosper New Mount Corinth under Pastor Jackson and our First Lady Shalaundra Jackson. Our Pastor and First Lady extend to you an invitation to join us in one of our exciting worship opportunities.
