Byron Wess

Rev. Dr. Byron P. Wess accepted the call to ministry at Shiloh Baptist Church, Columbus, OH. He was licensed in January 1996 and ordained in November 1998. Dr. Wess’ academic accomplishments are: B.A. in Theology (Summa Cum Laude), Ohio Dominican University; M.Div., Yale University Divinity School; Th.M., Princeton Theological Seminary; D.Min., Eastern University Palmer Theological Seminary. Dr. Wess has served as: Director of Pastoral Care, First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens; Pastor, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Philadelphia; Associate Pastor, First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens; Adjunct Professor, Somerset Christian College. Along with being Senior Pastor of NewLifeTC, Dr. Wess is also an Adjunct Professor & Associate Campus Dean at Strayed University, Lawrenceville Campus. Dr. Wess is married to Reverend Millicent A. Wess. They have a beloved daughter, Dyonna. Dr. Wess is a child of King, called to proclaim the word of God, instruct the people of God, and advance the kingdom of God.
