Jim Von Wald

Pastors Jim and Tina Von Wald moved to Foley in the spring of 2002 to be a part of the New Life Church plant. They are passionate about leading people into deeper relationships with God and each other. Prior to serving as pastor in Foley, Jim was a Probation/Parole Officer for 15 years. Jim enjoys sports and has officiated at the high school and college levels for 20 years. He is currently coaching football and baseball at Foley High School. Jim graduated from North Central University. Tina worked in training and leadership development for the State of Minnesota and several direct sales companies for 15 years. Upon moving to Foley Tina changed her focus to pastoral ministry and received her license to preach with the Assemblies of God. She is the worship pastor, church administrator and a graduate of Bethel University. Jim and Tina have been married for 27 years and have 3 children; Emma, Ella and Ean.
