Douglas Becker

Doug’s life mission is to make Christ known and adored through the teaching of God’s Word. Through this journey, God brought him to us in early July. Doug holds a BA in Bible and Theology from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, and a Master of Arts in Old Testament and Semitic Languages from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. Before coming to us, he taught Old Testament in the Bible department of Moody Bible Institute and served as an intern pastor at Jacksonville Chapel in Lincoln Park. Doug’s wife, Jamie, has faithfully supported him in ministry and in life for over six years, and together they are proud parents of Caraline Faith, who was born in late 2010. We are excited to have Doug as our new pastor, and we look forward to seeing what God will continue to do in and through his life.
