New Athens Church of God of Prophecy

I used to go here. This church is not what it claims to be. Pastor Dale Gallo and his wife Laura give the first impression of being warm, spiritual leaders. But in reality, they treats the church's attendees as commodities. If you are no longer useful - if you get sick, go into a care home, or stop tithing - the pastor and his wife will forget you exist. Even long-time attendees who gave financially for decades have been quietly abandoned in times of death and grief. If you're seeking genuine pastoral care or community support in hard times, I would advise you to look elsewhere. For this church's pastor and his wife, your value is directly tied to your visibility, your financial contributions, and what you can do for them. Anything else is just lip service or a ploy.
