Gary Bassham

Gary joined the staff at MBC in March of 2012. He is married to DeDe and they have four married children - Troy, Julie, Jolene, and Jana. His dream for MBC is that the church would progress and reach Yakima with the Gospel. Gary's favorite movies are Chariots of Fire, Fiddler on the Roof, and most sport movies or dramas. Since he and DeDe have just recently moved here he is yet to decide what his favorite restaurant in Yakima is. He enjoys sports - especially golf. He enjoys all kinds of music, especially Southern Gospel, but doesn't care much for Rap. His favorite books are "What Is So Amazing About Grace" and "The Reign of The Servant Kings". He likes to watch college football on TV. Gary grew up in Texas and Oregon. If a movie were to made about his life, he says that Gene Hackman or Tom Hanks would take the lead role. Gary's favorite flavor of ice cream is Rocky Road.
