Marianne Romanat

Rev. Marianne Romanat was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended NC State University and received her undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Math Education. During her college years, she discerned God's call to the full-time ministry during a short-term missionary assignment to Kenya through the United Methodist Church. She attended Columbia Theological Seminary, where she received her Master of Divinity degree. She has served as a pastor since 1997, at Boone UMC in Boone, FaithBridge UMC in Blowing Rock, and now Light of Christ UMC in Charlotte. Marianne is married to Kyle Romanat, has two stepsons, Josh and Caleb, and two children, Marisa and Austin.
