    Steve Huber

Steve Huber hails from the village of New Bedford in western Pa which is officially in the middle of nowhere. Steve became mesmerized by both the opportunity and needs of city life while in Chicago at Wheaton College, which he graduated from in 1992. He met his wife, Christine, while they were both employed at Bethanna Children’s home in Southampton, PA. Since 1993, Steve and Christine have lived in or just outside the city of Philadelphia. Steve graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in 1997 and moved to the Fairmount neighborhood to begin liberti church in the summer of 2002. He's a founding pastor of the liberti churches along with Geoff Bradford and is the human reason the name is spelled wrong (the latin way). Steve and Christine and their three children live in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia and Steve serves as the lead pastor of libert church east. Steve likes to read a lot, wishes his mountain bike had better shocks, and has been experimenting with different kinds of facial hair for the better part of 25 years. The liberti network now consists of 5 churches, plus a new 6th church in the works in Collingswood, NJ.
