Brian Peterson

Brian Peterson was born in Miami, FL. His family later moved to Greenville, SC where Brian spent most of his childhood. At the age of eight, Brian made a profession of faith, but he struggled with doubts for many years. The summer after his sophomore year of high school, Brian attended a Christian camp. While there, God dealt with him about his sin. He realized that he must place his trust in Christ and depend on Him alone for salvation. The next year, while on a mission’s trip to New York City, Brian publicly announced his desire to prepare to serve the Lord in vocational ministry. After high school, Brian began preparing for the ministry by working on a bachelor’s degree in Bible. He graduated in 1997. Upon graduation, he became a graduate assistant working as a men’s dormitory counselor. He graduated in May of 1999 with a master’s degree in Bible. A few days later he married Jennifer Gregory, also from Greenville, SC. Jennifer obtained a degree in Interior Design in 1999. Brian went on to serve Bible Baptist Church in Matthews, NC as a Youth Pastor for over eight years. During that time, the Lord added to his family Anna and William. Brian also finished his Master of Divinity while serving his congregation in North Carolina. In January of 2008, the Peterson family answered the call to serve Brookside Baptist Church in Brookfield, WI. Shortly after arriving there, the Lord added Jacob to the family. While in Milwaukee, Brian served as the Associate Pastor for Shepherding and Discipleship. In May of 2012, Brian answered the call to be the Senior Pastor at Lebanon Baptist in Roswell, GA. Brian’s passionate desire is to lead this congregation in exalting the Lord, evangelizing the lost, and equipping the saints.
