    Pastor Gene oversees our building maintenance and Youth Ministry at KMC. Pastor Gene is a graduate of the Missionary Church Pastoral Leadership Institute (PLI). He served as the Interim Overseer for Kapa’a Missionary Church from September 2022 – May 2022 and currently serves on the church Elder Board. Pastor Gene has been a faithful member of Kapa’a Missionary Church since 1997. Pastor Gene retired from the Hawaii National Guard after serving 40 years as a Radar Technician and Supervisor. Pastor Gene and his wife Carol are blessed with 4 grown children and 7 grandchildren.

    Senior Pastor

    Pastor Kelly served the United States Army as an Infantry Soldier, serving in the 25th Infantry Division 1-27 Wolfhounds. After serving an initial three-year tour with the 25th Infantry Division, Pastor Kelly received a calling to serve a greater authority, Jesus Christ. He then became a Chaplain Asst., serving both God and Country for the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii and later for the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Hood, Texas. Pastor Kelly spent time over a 12-year period in the Army at various locations and multiple deployments such as Hawaii, Haiti, Guam, Thailand, Japan, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, and Iraq. Pastor Kelly has served as Senior Pastor at The Glen Elder Christian Church in Glen Elder, KS., Senior Pastor at The Fertile Church of Christ in Fertile, IA, and Senior Pastor at The Leon Christian Church in Leon, KS before accepting the call to Kapa’a Missionary Church in June of 2022. Pastor Kelly’s credentials include: An Honorary Doctorate Degree of Divinity from Concordia Theologica Institute and Biblical studies, a Bachelors Degree of Practical Ministry from the Evangelical Protestant Church Seminary, and various courses throughout the Military. Pastor Kelly and his lovely wife Stacy are proud parents to 8 adult children and 7 grandchildren.
