    Brother Rick is a Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church. He is a retired Air Traffic Controller in the United States Navy, having served 22 years on active duty. Following his retirement from the Navy in 1993, Rick opened an insurance agency in Memphis, TN. In November 2000 Rick and family moved to Falkner, MS and continued to grow his business with corporate headquarters moving to Mississippi while expanding to five states. Rick, his wife Charlene and children joined Falkner UMC where they were the Youth Ministers and Rick also served as Minister of Music. In 2003 Rick answered God's Call to the Pastoral Ministry and was appointed as the Preaching Associate to the Tishomingo MS Charge which included Boggs Chapel, Tishomingo First, Rutledge-Salem, Paradise and Dennis United Methodist Churches. In July 2006, Rick was appointed to the Hopewell-Indian Springs Charge. In 2012, Indian Springs became a station church and Rick remained as the Pastor. While Pastor at Indian Springs, the church has been named Mission Church of the Year, District Church of the Year and the Conference Church of the Year. Rick continues to manage the insurance agency while pastoring Indian Springs Church. He serves on the District Finance Committee and attends Millsaps College Course of Study (Extension of Candler School of Theology).
