Calvin Hooper

Pastor Calvin Hooper is the Founder of the non-denominational Household of Faith Christian Fellowship Church, Inc. A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, he accepted the call to ministry in 1991 and has served in various capacities in ministry since that time. He is a gifted servant leader with a strong desire to teach God's people how to apply the Word of God to their everyday lives. His greatest passion is winning souls for Christ and discipling them to do the same. Pastor Hooper is an accomplished author. His book 8 Essentials for Following Jesus is currently available from major booksellers and websites. The book has impacted lives around the world and is used as the primary resource for new members’ assimilation in churches across the United States. Pastor Hooper served in the United States Army for 8 years where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant in the field of Communications. He was responsible for training and leading subordinates and other leaders while consistently setting a standard of excellence for them to follow. He earned several awards and attended leadership development training to hone his leadership skills. After a period of distinguished service Pastor Hooper was Honorably Discharged from the military in 1993. Pastor Hooper is a devoted husband to Valerie and father of five children. They reside in Round Rock, TX.
