This is the congregation to which my mother's parents -- Wal J. Horney and Carrie Eulon Cox Horney were active all the years of the later years, living for many years on a farm about one mile north of Hortonville -- their house being in Adams Township which has Sheridan as its major community.
There was an old bachelor farmer Thomas _____________ who gave his entire estate to the Hortonville Meeting of Friends.
Every Sunday Thomas would quote Psalm 122:1 "I was glad when they said unto me: let us go to the house of the Lord."
