    Ryan has been at Gulf Breeze Presbyterian since September of 2013. Son of Reverend’s Marc and Marla Jones, Ryan first started working with children at his parents church and and became an elder while a sophomore in high school. He then went on to work at Montgomery Presbyterian Camp and Conference Center (owned by the Presbytery of St. Augustine) where he served as counselor, support staff, art and crafts director, music director, and leadership staff and at Dogwood Acres Retreat Center and Summer Camp (Presbytery of Florida) as counselor and leadership staff. Ryan is in school as a double major in Sociology and Psychology with a minor in secondary education and is planning on continuing his education with a Master of Divinity and Sociology. Ryan enjoys playing guitar, camping, and is a fan of anything Star Wars.

    Having led music in various churches in the southeast for 22+ years, Dasha Teelin is a seasoned professional music leader in the ministry, who has both undergraduate and graduate degrees. More important than her qualifications, however, is the fact that she loves to give back to God, with the talents He has given her, by singing, teaching musicians of all ages, and helping them work together to lead the congregation in musical praise and worship. She has been leading the contemporary music since 2013.

  • Richard Jernigan

    Our choir director is Richard Jernigan, a proffessor at Pensacola State University. He teaches woodwinds, Music History, Music Fundamentals and Music Appreciation, in addition to directing the Woodwind Quintet. He received his associate of arts degree from Pensacola State College, his bachelor of arts degree from the University of West Florida and his master of music degree from Louisiana State University. Jernigan is a seasoned musician, performing with symphonies in Pensacola and Mobile . A Pensacola native, he did graduate work at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore and studied at the Belgian Clarinet Academy in Oostende, Belgium, and at Hope University in Liverpool, England. When not practicing or teaching, Richard might be found sailing on Pensacola Bay, or trail riding with his chestnut mare, Bitsy.

    Pastor Danny has been at GBPC since January 2015 and is excited to be working with all of the wonderful folks at our church. He is passionate about missions, evangelism, and ministering to those who would consider themselves “Spiritual but not Religious.” He has previously served as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Americus, GA and Associate Pastor of Youth and Outreach at Miami Shores Presbyterian Church. Pastor Danny is a Miami native and he loves the Miami Marlins, Miami Dolphins, and UCF Knights. He graduated from the University of Central Florida (B.A.) and Columbia Theological Seminary (M.Div.). Pastor Danny’s wife Heather is a Registered Nurse working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola and she is a diehard Clemson Tiger. Pastor Danny and Heather have three children: Joshua, Rebecca, and another baby girl due in November 2015.
